Fictional AI birthday song for Sarah: a 60-second public example, not a customer order or a recording from either competitor.
Your first personal song has a separate free 45-second preview. Review the lyrics before audio generation; full-song unlocking starts at $49. The button opens the regular form.
Research method: public product pages, help articles and order-flow observations. This comparison is not a purchased-song listening test.
Songfinch or Songifted?
Choose Songfinch if a human songwriter, a particular artist's voice, and direct collaboration matter more than speed or budget. You can browse artist samples before ordering. For a standard seven-day order, Songfinch says the artist shares a lyric draft before recording and you have 24 hours to review it. Rush orders of three days or fewer skip that draft step.
Consider Songifted if you are comfortable with AI creation, want to shape the lyrics yourself, or need a song quickly. Our single-song price is $49 at this check; confirm current pricing. You can begin creating and hear a short preview of your own song before deciding whether to pay. The preview and the finished song are generated by AI, not a human artist.

Songfinch's entry price is a starting point, not a quote for every artist or add-on. Its product page lists optional extras such as Spotify distribution and physical keepsakes; check their current checkout for prices. Songifted's current packages and terms are on our pricing page. The table compares workflows, not audio quality or customer satisfaction.
What can you change after ordering?
Songfinch says that standard seven-day orders include a lyric draft before recording, while orders rushed to three days or fewer go straight to recording. After delivery, its current revision policy provides a 72-hour window to request changes through the Song Review tool. The artist reviews those requests; changes after that window are not guaranteed. Read the collaboration process and revision policy for the current details.
With Songifted, you can review the AI-generated lyrics before generating audio. This is not the same as collaborating with a human songwriter. If the tone of a complex story depends on human judgment, Songfinch may be a better fit.
Is Songfinch worth it?
It can be if the human artist is the point of the gift and you have time to collaborate. Listen to several artist samples, check the artist's quoted price, and allow enough time for review. If your main need is a personal song this week on a smaller budget, try the Songifted preview and judge its result for yourself before purchasing.
