Songfinch vs Songlorious: choose the artist, then check the order
Both services sell original songs performed by real artists. The better choice depends on whose voice you want, how much time you have and what the final checkout includes. Use this side-by-side guide before you place an order.
At a glance
| Decision | Songfinch | Songlorious |
|---|---|---|
| Who performs the song? | A professional artist you choose from its roster | An independent recording artist; you can choose an artist or request a match |
| Advertised entry price | From $179 on its current homepage; individual artists set their rates | From $180 on its current occasion page; length, delivery and payment choices affect the final total |
| What you bring | Your story, preferred artist and musical direction | Your story, genre, mood, song length and artist choice |
| Published timing | Standard delivery is seven days; rush may be available | Its occasion page says ready to download in less than a week; confirm the date shown at checkout |
| Before paying | Listen to the artist roster and inspect your selected artist's price | Listen to artist samples, then inspect the length, delivery and payment breakdown |
These are advertised entry points, not matched quotes for an identical song. Songfinch's official homepage currently describes its artist marketplace and starting price. Songlorious describes its artist-led process and $180 starting price on its official occasion page. Neither figure tells you what your own artist, options or deadline will cost.
The artist decision comes first
Open samples from both rosters and shortlist two or three voices that suit the recipient. Compare how each artist handles the genre you want, whether their lyrics sound personal rather than generic, and whether the performance still works at the length you are buying. A lower starting price cannot answer those questions for you.
Songfinch currently emphasizes direct collaboration with a chosen artist, including a lyric draft in its standard workflow. Songlorious lets you select an artist or be matched. Ask yourself whether a specific singer is part of the gift. If so, check that artist's availability and quote before comparing delivery dates. Read the Songfinch process and Songlorious process in their own words.
Put both carts on the same footing
- Choose the same occasion and target length. Songlorious prices different song lengths separately; Songfinch's artist rate may vary. Compare the actual selections, not two homepage badges.
- Enter your real deadline. A standard date and a rush date are different purchases. Check the date shown in each checkout before planning a gift reveal.
- Review every extra. Streaming distribution, keepsakes and later changes may be separate choices. Read the final total and terms before paying.
- Check when feedback is possible. Songfinch's current support page describes a lyric-review stage for standard orders and a different rush path; confirm the timing that applies to your selected order. Ask Songlorious what its order terms permit if wording must be exact.
For Songfinch's latest draft and revision details, see its collaboration guide and revision policy. The Songlorious FAQ and checkout are the place to verify its current order-specific terms. We do not treat either service's artist samples as a preview of your finished song.

Explore SongloriousWhen an AI-made song is a better fit
If human performance is essential, choose a human artist from either roster. If you would rather write the story, approve the AI-generated lyric and hear a short preview of your own song before paying, Songifted offers a different workflow. It is not a Songfinch or Songlorious artist service, and an AI result may not capture nuance the way a musician can.

Keep the reviews separate
This page compares the buying decision. For a closer look at each company, read our Songfinch review and Songlorious review. Both are written by a competitor and should be checked against each company's current official pages.
